Composition:
Remexon Vet 1 gm Injection: Each vial contains Ceftriaxone Sodium USP eq. to Ceftriaxone 1 gm accompanied by 1 ampoule of 4 ml Lidocaine 1% Injection BP.
Remexon Vet 2 gm Injection: Each vial contains Ceftriaxone Sodium USP eq. to Ceftriaxone 2 gm accompanied by 1 ampoule of 8 ml Lidocaine 1% Injection BP.
Indication:
Remexon vet injection is indicated for the treatment of the following infections when caused by susceptible organisms: Respiratory Tract Infection, Acute Bacterial Otitis Media, Skin & Skin Structure Infection, Urinary Tract Infection, Bone & Joint Infection, Bacterial Septicemia, Intra-Abdominal Infection etc.
Remexon vet injection is effective against diseases caused by sensitive bacteria such as mastitis, actinobacillosis, actinomycosis, hemorrhagic septicemia, black quarter, anthrax, foot rot, dermatophilosis, infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis, salmonellosis, brucellosis, enterotoxaemia, meningitis etc. and to prevent post-operative infections. It is also used to prevent secondary bacterial infections followed by viral infections such as foot & mouth disease, ephemeral fever, PPR etc.
Dosage & Administration:
Remexon Vet 1 gm Injection: Add 4 ml Benacaine (Lidocaine 1%) Injection into the vial of Remexon Vet 1 gm Injection and shake well until the Powder dissolved completely.
Remexon Vet 2 gm Injection: Add 8 ml Benacaine (Lidocaine 1%) Injection into the vial of Remexon Vet 2 gm Injection and shake well until the Powder dissolved completely.
Cattle, Buffalo: 1ml per 25 Kg body weight or 10 mg/kg body weight.
Horse,Dog,Cat: 1ml per 10 Kg body weight or 25 mg/kg body weight.
Goat, Sheep: 1ml per 12.5 Kg body weight or 20 mg/kg body weight.
It should be administered slowly through Intramuscular route at 12-24 hours interval for consecutive 3-5 days.
Or, as prescribed by the registered Veterinary doctor.
Side effect:
Hypersensitivity, pruritus, fever or chills, thrombocytosis and leukopenia, prolongation of the prothrombin time, diarrhea, dyspepsia, palpitations.
Storage:
Protect from light, store in a cool & dry place and keep out of reach of children.
Presentation:
Remexon Vet 1 gm Injection: Each pack contains one vial of Remexon Vet 1 gm Injection & 1 ampoule of 4 ml Benacaine (Lidocaine 1%) Injection and a 5 ml disposable syringe.
Remexon Vet 2 gm Injection: Each pack contains one vial of Remexon Vet 2 gm Injection & 1 ampoule of 8 ml Benacaine (Lidocaine 1%) Injection and a 10 ml disposable syringe.
